Series 1205 Clips used as guides, where it is undesirable to restrict longitudinal movement.

> For the same pipe size, the same Series 1205 can be used for clamping or guiding.

This is done simply by inserting spacers to hold the clip apart by the desired gap for the guiding (non-grip) application.

Advantages over conventional Ubolt system

Only one component is required to suit two applications, hence no confusion when ordering. The fixing holes are drilled to suit the base plate which is standard. Hence, all holes can be drilled at the same centres regardless of the anchor (grip) or guide (non-grip) application.
